Anthony wanted to take a picture right before we left for the hospital!!



So this post is only 7 weeks late...some day I will catch up and stay caught up! :)

Our sweet baby boy decided to come two weeks before my scheduled c-section date. I have 2 other kids and you would think I would know when I was in labor! I think I was more in denial because I was not ready at all! I started having contractions around 830 on Wednesday night. By 1030 they were coming pretty regularly so I decided I had better tell Anthony! He looked at me like I was crazy and said something along the lines of "Ok, but I am busy looking at boats on the computer right now." I decided to go for a walk to see if they would stop. I saw that my neighbor was up and texted her. She came outside and we talked for about an hour. She was making me time my contractions and told me to go to the hospital. I told her I would in the morning because my doctor was out of town and I didn't want to call the on call dr in the middle of the night! I told her I was going to go home and take a shower and put on make up so I could look decent for pictures! By the time I got home-4 houses down-the contractions were really hurting. I called my Mom to come over and watch the girls and I hopped in the shower! By the time I got out I didn't want to do anything! I asked Anthony to throw a few things in a bag. Forget the hair and make up!! We got to the hospital around 1230. They put me on the monitor and checked me and said I was in labor. They called the doctor on call for my doctor around 130. For some reason the nurse said my uterus was very irritable and I pretty much had a continuous contraction until he was born! It was a LONG 3 hours waiting for the doctor and for them to get everything ready for the c-section! But so worth it!! Adam Dominic was born at 426 a.m. on March 24th. He weighed 6# 3 oz and was 19 1/4 inches!!
