Thanksgiving

This may have been the longest holiday we have had. Both girls were sick but I didn't realize it until about Sunday. I should have realized something was going on when neither of them were eating. They were both extremely fussy, whiny and just trouble all weekend. I took them to the doctor on Monday and she thought for sure they had strep throat. They didn't just some nasty virus. Katelynn is finally feeling better and I hope Kendall isn't far behind.
Katelynn said she was thankful for cookies on Thanksgiving! :) That's my girl.
We took them to a tree farm on Sunday with Lala. The girls really liked it. It was fun to pick out our own tree. Katelynn picked it all by herself and did a good job. Kendall was more interested in watching a cow next to the trees. We rode a train and the girls played on the bouncy slides. It was about 50 degrees and windy which is very cold by my standards and Katelynn had to have a snow cone!! Still trying to figure out why they would even sell them...
We put the tree up on Sunday but still haven't decorated it. I am waiting to see if Kendall is going to try to pull it down or not!! Both girls love the outside lights and get so excited when we see them at night. During the day when the lights are not on she keeps saying "Oh no the lights are broken!"
Tomorrow Lala and Baba are going to eat lunch with Katelynn at school. It is "grandparents day" and they get to go to the book fair. She is sooo excited.
